refrigarated egg

    Hello guys I'm new for hatching refrig egg. Question how many days or weeks to refrige egg ?and how many days before I put in incubator? Thank u. This is my first time to handle and my challenge is to get chicks :)

    I hatched mine after two weeks of refrigeration. As long as they don't freeze, I believe the cold just helps them last longer. Hatch rate is supposedly slightly less than with fresh eggs, but fresh eggs won't remain viable as long as refrigerated ones. Bottom line as I see it is that refrigeration is no problem.

    You should just let the eggs get to room temperature before they go into the incubator. I left mine out overnight.
