registering?

hello - i am new to byc and wondered if the time zone infor when registering is that important. I could not find a west coast timing zone. only east and central- is that messing up timing when i post?? or does it even matter. - thanks

I am on the west coast and have mine set to -8 PST (Pacific Standard Time).
