    Hi y'all,

One of my "pullets" turned out to be a roo, (bought him at the feed store as a day old), and I can't have roos. What do I do with him? Take him back there?

    Thanks in advance [IMG]

I've never known a feed store that would take them back, even for free. They have no way of knowing what the chick may have been exposed to that could infect their birds (not saying he has of course).

Your best bet would probably be an ad on Craigslist.

Good luck. I love my two cockerels (that were pullet chicks [IMG] ), but then I have no restrictions where I live.

It wouldn't hurt to call the feed store, the feed store where we got ours (in Clovis CA) took it back... no questions asked, no money exchanged.

Our Craigslist is FULL of Roos... and there's tons of illegal Roo fighting rings in the area... so posting on Craigslist was not something I was going to do. The day before we returned ours, they had raided a ring and rescued 30-something roos... then that very morning they raided another and rescued 40.
