We got a buff orpington, australorp, ans silver laced wyandotte this week. They are about 1 week old. The australorp is pretty significantly smaller than the other two. Is that due to australorps being a sleeker breed in general, or is she underdeveloped you think? I couldn't find anything online about size differences between chicken breeds as chicks except meat birds vs. layers, bantams, etc. I don't have a great photo showing the difference, but she's maybe 2/3 the size of the other two? I'll attach the best couple photos I have.

Thought maybe someone here has hatched both at the same time, etc, and would know. Thanks!

I'd say that the chick may be a bit younger than a week old. I'd say he or she is just younger than the rest
Would one day make a difference? We got them from the local feed store, who got them from a hatchery. My understanding is thr hatchery would have shipped them within about a day of hatching. Otherwise I'd think the same thing.
