Hi! I have been raising chickens for over 5 years...and providing advice to everyone along the way. I use this forum a lot for information and it has proved invaluable over the years. I am currently hatching my first batch of chickens using an incubator...and I'll know how I did next week. I currently own one rooster, and 9 hens...but I've had up to 45 hens and once, unfortunately, 13 roosters!!

Welcome to BYC! It sounds like you already know all about the site. I am glad you don't have 13 roosters anymore! Yikes! 1 rooster and 9 hens sounds like a great size for a flock.
