My hen roller paired up with my homer. They had a baby thats about 2 weeks old. The roller cock I want to pair her up with doesn't have a mate. Can I take the hen from the squab and the dad homer still feed it? Or is it to risky?

Personally, I would wait until the baby is 3 weeks old. Yes, the dad should continue feeding on his own. Especially if you have them in their own breeding cage where there's no distractions. But if not, he should still be loyal to the baby. Some birds just won't do it, but most do. If you are really nervous about it, then just wait until it's weaned [IMG] Only a couple more weeks to go anyway.
