My last surviving Pilgrim gander was recently killed and his widow appears lost and aimless. If anyone in the Central Ca area (we're just outside of Fresno in the Clovis foothills) has an adult Pilgrim or Toulouse (assuming it can breed naturally) to sell I would be very interested. A lone goose is a lonely goose!

I am so sorry for your loss! We are currently fostering a pair of Brown Chinese Geese (or swan geese, I suppose) and I couldn't imagine the goose without the gander. I was just reading that it can be really hard for them to move on. :( If you think maybe a couple could do the trick, I'd be happy to deliver. :)
