Hello, I am very new to chickens and I might be posting this in the wrong area. I have 2 almost 1 year Wyandottes and 2 6 week old Australorps. Pretty sure one of the babies is a rooster. I am taking back to the feed store when they start accepting roosters in a month. Will my little hen be okay with the Wyandottes or should I get another chicken around the same age to replace the rooster? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

No, you should never add a single chicken to a flock. You need to purchase another bird of similar age to raise with the remaining Australorp.

Thank you. I have received different answers from people since my flock consists of two. I will purchase another hen and happy to do so.
