There's lots of brown on the back, if they're Black Shoulders I think they are probably male.

Look at the file size of the pics, should see something like 400 x 500 pixels. If you used photo editing software(like Adobe Photoshop etc) 600 x 500-ish is average good size for message boards. On byc you have the option of uploading a full size pic(if way big) and click on 'resize image?' to 640 x 480 for message boards. No worries, everybody learns and you managed to get pics to show up.. that's usually a challenge for newbies too.

My not so confident guess- top male, bottom female. Still on the youngish side to be sure, takes a little longer to sex black shoulder chicks than blue chicks.
