[IMG] Looks to be a crossbred with some gamefowl influence.

She will lay eggs and raise chicks - it looks as if she has a brood with her in the picture.

yes we saved her and her 6 chicks from dogs. made a place for her to live in te yard. prefers to sleep in bushes over the hen house we made. prefers bugs over chicken feed ... but will eat rice and some scrap food.

    Agreed.

She should lay eggs, and will probably be a good mother, too.

she is an amazing mother, teaches them everything from flying to eating, to hideing when cats or big birds come around. she also attacks us when we get close ha, shes gettin them to fit threw the holes on the fence to eat bugs on the other side while she stands on the hen house to look out and calls them back . I was wondering If she would lay eggs to eat ? I really don't know much about chickens .
