I’ve had this lady for 6-7 weeks... she looked like she was going to pop back then. Little did I know how much more she can grow! I can hear piglet heart beats in both horns using a stethoscope. We’ve seen and felt babies moving, especially late at night. Very excited for the pig day, already have a waiting list of interested parties. :)
 
Thank you. I hope to have a larger homestead someday so I can rescue more pigs. I really think pigs are pets for people with backyards and/or country life. This poor lady was left outside during winter without shelter, no clean water or decent food. She actually lost weight when I brought her home, wormed her and fed her fresh foods and Nutrena.
 
They are here! Perfect unassisted delivery (husband found her farrowing at 4pm), 8 beautiful babies (4 boys, 4 girls). The black one looks like the male she was with when I rescued her. Omg. So cute!
