Rescue Silkies

I will be driving from Ohio to Florida in order to take in 40 silkies from my Aunt. I know this poor babies have not been looked after at all. I would like to treat them for mites and lice before the long car ride home. The kicker is this whole rescue operation has to be in 2 1/2 days. Any recommendations on what to use that will be safe in a confined space? Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

How do you move 40 silkies? A van? Poultry dust with permrethrine is your best bet I think.
