Rescued from Snow Storm...what am I? UPDATE Chickens were Dumped!!

    My wife was driving to work and saw huddled down in the road ditch, almost buried in snow was this bird. She thought it was a pheasant at first, but once she walked up to it she stated it had crazy feathers on it's head... I figured Polish of some sort, any ideas....


    The best part is she claims not to like the chickens I have... Always seems to be concerned for them and now gets out of the car in a snow storm to rescue one....

    This is what she emailed me I will try to get better pics tonight when I examine the bird to make sure it is ok...

    I concur! [​IMG] I have one, but he does not have as nice of a crest on his head.

    Are you sure it is not a gold-mixed brabanter. Looks like it has that weird comb on it's head.
