thank you all for your posts on my subject of my rescued meat hen....and....I DID NOT STEAL THE CHICKEN!!!!She wondered in my yard after a day in the woods. My neighbors knew right away! They do NOT put a chick back in their flock-of-5 thousand after it has been away that long. thinking I stoile it was absurd!!!!!..,..She is healthy and happy now and living with my other 3 hens in the coop....some of you may need to read the 'rules' of backyard chickens and stop posting offending and rude answers to other people's posts!!

Thank you to the ones that really ANSWERED my post with logic and helpful advice!

1 month isolation for all newcomers is a good safety rule before integrating with any flocks!
