Ok, I want to start raising rheas but want to begin with hatching eggs, seeing as week old chicks seem to be a bit pricey!, Is there anyone on here who sells rhea eggs and if so can I get a price comparison here? I've seen some emu eggs priced at about $10 each not including shipping, so I would hope they wouldn't be to far off in comparison, after all these big birds will need to eat someday. Thanks

their eggs are costly also. normal Emu eggs average $20-$25, Rheas normally more. One of our members in TX has them and sells eggs. Do a search on Rheas and you'll find him.

I raise white rheas, I sale them for $300 each when available. Haven't sold eggs, but I may work something out for you on a couple. I usually get 90% fertility.
