Rhode Island Red prices????

I have a guy around the corner from me that bought a bunch of RIR eggs and once they hatched out almost all of the 20 eggs are roo's, so he's looking to thin out the testosterone, but I was wondering what they were going for now.

Free IF anybody would take them? I've tried with no success to sell ANY rooster(rir & white legs) for $5.00 just to cover the cost of feed its consumed-and have never been able to do so. Good luck!

For roosters?? I live in the wrong state for rooster sales! I can barely give away my rir roosters..or for that matter any of my mostly egg laying bred roosters. I typically get $3-4 for my dual purpose bred roosters at around 5-6 months.

I send them to auction. People turn them into tamales and Pho apparently.

well my roo just passed away, and I was also looking to diversify my flock so I don't mind buying them but he was going to sell me a pair to breed for myself for $30 and I didn't know if that was fair or not. thanks for the info....
