Free to a good home- one gorgeous 5 month old Rhode Island Red rooster.
Purchased as chick, has been raised with lots of love and highest quality organic feed- has even had wheatgrass regularly! Beautiful coloring and very sweet temperament. Very surprised when our "hen" started crowing. We live in urban Emeryville, too small a yard for a roo.
Would love to send this dear bird to a good home where he'll have space to be a proper rooster- defending your hens, fertilizing your eggs, adding quality breeding to your flock.
Please be in touch via email as soon as possible- must pass chicken on within the next day or two. Be willing to pick up rooster in Emeryville- maybe on Thanksgiving!
