Rhode island red rooster has a bruise on his claw

My rhode islans red rooster has a purple bruise on his claw will this eventually reside? He has had it for a couple weeks now. He doesnt seem to be bothered by it to much i just dont want to see my chickens in pain or hurting? any suggestions
