rhode island red?

this is gerty not sure what she is. the buff next to her is pennie. any thoughts?

Not sure what breed or mix of breeds Gerty is, but I'm positive that he is a cockerel.

thanks ive been wondering he doesn't crow at all I have a rhode island red rooster in there with him that does crow. how old would u say he is?

Cant tell very well from the pictures but he may be an Australorp Roo. He looks too black to be a RIR. My neighbors Australorp Roo has reddish and greenish tints in his feathers in bright light. Handsome.. what ever he is.,

I don't have roosters but my neighbors Roo is one of the great ones. Large, handsome and friendly. Hopefully this runs in the breed. That would be nice luck for you.
