MINE ARE 15 WEEKS OLD. THERE FROM MT HEALTHY HATCHERY. HOPE TO SEE EGGS IN A MONTH OR TWO.

They'll probably start laying around 18 weeks old or a little later.

I have both a RIR and a Barred Rock ..... 22 weeks old ..... no eggs yet. I'm also waiting for my Black Austrolorp ... she is also 22 weeks old. The only one laying (same age) is my Buff Orpington ... she started laying at 21 weeks old and has layed an egg every day since.

19.5 weeks for my BR's and still waiting for first hard egg from my Production RIR's, they are now almost 20 weeks(They are bottom of pecking order so I think stress is slowing things). I have had a couple of "fart" saoft shell eggs under the perch where the RIR's perch, so hoping for a hard egg in next couple of days.
