Anyone raise these? Is there anything I should know about them before I buy some eggs?

i have them. Good birds, basically just like a RIR. They put out eggs everyday just like all the others and have a nice personallity.

I forgot about the Roo. He is a very calm well behaved Roo, probably my DW fav (I think because he is the quietest).

The true RIW has a rose comb. If anyone has RIW with the rose comb, I would love to buy some eggs. I had an order in with Gordie but he said his roo is not doing his job and the eggs were not fertile. [IMG]

Wow...I never heard of that...are they pure white birds? I love my reds. Not old enough to lay yet but they are sweeties.
