    This
should answer any questions you have..

Let's see ring teal.. It is a neat little bird. I believe I have 5 pair, you kind of lose track when you have as many as I do..
First of all the funny story is the noises they make... They sound like cats..
The nest in a raised duck box like Wood ducks and are easy to breed.
We feed ours a mixture of 1/2 feed wheat and 1/2 laying pellets. They also jump on top of the floating waterfowl food when I am giving it to the divers.. All of my birds like it.
They perch on anything and everything.... so make sure you have stuff for them.

I love my pair. Their wings are clipped so they can free range in my back yard. They are very little so I have to keep a watch on them for predators. They eat what all my other ducks eat: Flock raiser, scratch grains, peas and other veggies.

I drive through Coffeyville every weekend and make it in about 45 minutes, i'd have to google map it to see the distance though.
