Can you get ringworm from your chickens?

Very good question! I've had it twice in two months and my DD has had it once. I wash well when I come in. I'm not sure what the DD does. Neither of us have ever had it before.

Yes, if a chicken has ringworm, you can certainly get it. Ringworm is a fungal infection like athletes foot and jock itch. My kids got it from a cat years ago.

Quote:same here....i've had it once years ago in high school but i've had it twice now in two or three months. first one on arm, second one on my knee, which i thought was a wierd spot but it definitely looks like ring worm.

    thanx for the fast reply.
