Does anyone know how to get rid of it. I am pretty sure that is what I have. I have a spot that has a red ring around it. Grrr...

A good Antifungal ointment, it is most important to use it at night. It takes forever to get rid of (months). Shower often, Betadine during the shower will help. Or Chlorhexidine solution. Just keep rinsing the fungus off. [IMG]

Witch Hazel helps alot too.. to dry it up..
But yes, you need a good anti-fungal cream...
Personally..i'd go to the doc and get a script....

No really, just joking. Tea tree oil works well.

If the lotrimin does not work, gresiofulvan will. It's a prescription antifungal.

Ringworm does NOT take months to get rid of. A couple weeks tops. Actually BluKote is one of the best remedies. Or would be if it didn't dye everthing purple. When I was little my cousin and I both got it. Cousin was taken to the doctor. They shaved his head and whatever the doctor prescribed took weeks to work. My mother applied some lotion to mine she got from the vet and mine was gone in less than a week. Any good fungicide will work.
