My most beautiful favorite Cochin bantam has been a free meal to a predator...We think it may have been a hawk seen last week in the area. Only sign was a couple of piles of blue feathers in the brush behind the coop. Aww the joys of freerange...

    Bluebell will be sadly missed...

but I gotta say that picture is amazing.

[IMG] Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. That is too bad.....I free range a lot of my birds also, and I am always afraid This Will Be The Day. But, they love to free range so much, it is so hard to keep them locked up.
    RIP Bluebell. [IMG]

I'm so sorry about Bluebell, I free range and it worries me. I know if the Pudster is out there they are safe, but if the cat's not there I worry.
