My beautiful little hen Butterscotch died this morning. I don't know why but she tried to go through the fence to the other pen and got stuck there. She must have done it really early because I went out to feed at 7am and she had been dead awhile already. Tux the big roo was sitting next to her protecting her body. When Steven got her unstuck and buried her he tried to scratch the ground and dig her back up. I never realized the two of them were so close, they were hardly ever near each other that I saw other than roosting at night. I'll miss that darling little hen.

Thanks all, she was a special little lady and one of them that got subjected to the humiliation of being hypnotized!
