RIP Tilley My Very First Chicken 8/13 -6/18

Here she is doing what love to do going broody . She had a large mass in her abdomen I tried to drain it nothing came out she spent the last few days in the house with me and was very pampered. Her sister Vicki keep preventing her from going in the house at night so she tried hide under their house i wasn’t going to let that happen! Besides I got a fox that lives in the ditch a few feet from the chicken house As I am typing this I am holding her lifeless body and wondering if I should open her I don’t know if I can. If I get the courage I will post the pictures. If you like you can post your chickens,ducks or anything that’s has passed and make it a memorial thread to them thank you
