RIR chick Yawning?

I have a 3 week old RIR, she stretchs her neck up high and opens her beak really wide, it almost looks like she is yawning. No sounds ever come out, but I have never seen another chick do that before. Does anyone know what's going on?

I have seen it in my roo when he was young but I never knew why he did it. I was worried at the time but I guess it was normal as he is fine and many months older today. Today he does yawn when it is near time for him to go to roost, I notice.

My nearly 3 week old Buff Orp did the same thing last night... Looked like a yawn to me.
