Back in April I bought 9 pullets from the Tractor Supply Store. But the more they grow I think I have 6 cockerels and 3 pullets. What do you guys think?

It’s a little late now, but since you’re still looking, I’ll share this much. RIRs have some autosexing characteristics, but hatcheries have bred it out of a lot of them. There’s a thread on here about it, and the great and powerful @The Moonshiner told me about it. I’m very early in the process, but I’m trying to breed for those traits in my RIR flock. If you’re still looking for chicks, the pullets will be darker with a couple dark dots on their head. Some may even have a faint stripe down the back. The males will be lighter with a very bright colored leading edge on their wings. This is the fluffy chick down, not wing feather sexing. If they start to feather, it’s too late. Not all will exhibit, but some should.
