Omg! And yes indeed, witnessed him trying to mate with my little silky today! I thought he was just hen pecking! Ugh, our city doesn’t allow roosters! So can I keep eating the eggs? How would I know if they are fertilized?? Sorry if these are basic questions - new chicken owner here!

Fertilized eggs are totally okay to eat! So as long as you don't let your hens sit on them you should have no issues.
