RIR or Buckeye? Is there any way to tell prior to their comb? :-)

It looks like it has a straight comb in the top pic, so I'd say RIR.

It appears ( I don't have the best eyes) that she has a rose comb which would mean she's a Buckeye. Is it possible to get a close up head shot in sunlight ? We could tell for sure if we get head shot.
