rir sexing. 7.5 weeks old.

Bought at tsc 7.5 weeks ago. Were sold to me as rhode island red pullets but i suspect they are straight run. Any ideas?

They've been playing in the mud so the white specs you see are dirt.

Some of them are starting to get the black and green tail feathers.

Well the one's that are having a change in tail color I'd say are roos. Sorry didn't see them in the pics.

Hard to see much in those pic's but in your second post, pic #1, bird in the center with it's foot raised and in the 3rd pic, again bird in center with foot raised, those look like possible roo's to me.

Most of them are getting black tail feathers and about half of them are getting dark neck feathers.

Good. I was getting worried. Are there any disadvantages to not keeping a rooster?
