    Hi all!

My 7 months old RIR stopped laying 9 days ago. She had been extremely consistent laying about 6 eggs per week. She started laying at 19 weeks old. She is still going in the nesting box and sitting there for about 20-25 min. but when she comes out, there's no egg. I'm 100% sure she's not eating her egg, as I've been keeping an eye on her while she's in there. She's eating, drinking and behaving normally. Her wattles aren't pale and I've checked her poop for worms.

I'm in Northern California and we had a change of weather not too long ago where it went from mid 70s to high 80s. This heat spell only lasted one day. Could this be it? Or is there something else going on? Should I deworm her? I have 4 chickens in my flock, 2 BR, a Golden Laced Wyandotte and the RIR. I let them out every morning to free range in my backyard during the day (we live in a a suburban development) They have never been dewormed, yet everyone has been laying normally. Thoughts? Any feedback would be appreciated :)

Some hens lay consistently some are on and off. She also could be broody or starting to feel broody. Some never actually become totally broody but will go through some of the motions. If she's not acting sick than I wouldn't worry. Weather changes can also make some halt laying for a time too.
