RIR's are SO SWEET!

    They really are! Ive heard they had temper problems but... We still bought 4 and I love them sooo much!


    If anyone is getting chickens i highly recommend RIRs [​IMG]

    I agree! My RIRs are my favorites of all the breeds I have. Well, next to the Silkies, that is. [​IMG]

    Couldn't agree with you more. My RIR's have been the calmest and most friendly chickens I've had. They are by far my favorite.

    I agree with all of you, mine are spoiled lil sweeties...now if they'd only lay some eggs for me I'd be even happier with them lol

    I have Ameraucaunas, A Cochin, A Phoenix, A Barred rock....

    And a bunch more but besides the Phoenix RIRs are my favorite! [​IMG]


    When we were going to get them we researched and it said they weren't very nice but they were great layers....


    Its like WHATEVER! They are sooo cool!

    They have also surprised me. I have one that if you ignore him he will bite you till you decide to pet him then hes fine.
