I have a feeling this one is a roo. His legs are thicker than some of the others, and carries himself differently.

Rhode Island Reds are sweet hens with great personalities and they are wonderful layers. You will enjoy them!

Quote:They really are sweet. I have one intrepid RIR girl that hops over the chicken-pen fence to scratch in the back yard for an hour or so every afternoon. I have to be careful not to let the dogs out while she's there, but she's such a happy little soul that I don't have the heart to kick her out.
