I coated the bird first with butter, then sprinkled black pepper, onion salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder,,just enough to taste, roasted for one and one half hours at 350 degrees,in an oven bag,the bird was cooked to perfection, tender, moist, and almost falling off the bone,I left the skin on and it was golden brown,,what else can I say??????

Yum! Glad you enjoyed your bird. It's a good feeling... raising your own food, processing it, and then enjoying a great meal. Congrats!

Yummy...It's a wonderful feeling knowing all that your chicken has eaten and how it was raised from birth....until it serves it's purpose. One Big Healthy!!!!!!

We have a Ronco Showtime rotisserie and it works great. I love the smell in the whole house of roasted chicken on a cold fall or winter day. You'll never want to eat store bought anymore. Isn't it nice living beyond the sidewalks? Will
