Roberta or Robert?

5 month old EE, I think. We bought 4 pullets from a local hatchery. Roberta starting crowing on and off around over a week ago at 4-5 am. He/she has done it the past 3 mornings and continued once I let the out of the coop.

Thanks everybody. I had looked at enough pictures hen vs rooster pictures and seen this forum’s response to similar questions that I had decided that was so. He is beautiful and friendly. We just cannot have crowing in our neighborhood.

I would keep him in a minute, he is my favorite. I’m afraid my neighbors will complain and my local chicken “permit” excludes roosters
