Hello! Long story short I may need to move my flock to a families farm. No one lives there daily but the property is visited 2-3 times a week. My concern is in the hot summer months or in the dead of winter the eggs will get too hot or freeze. Their nesting boxes will be in a barn that does regulate temps decently but I wasn't sure how long the eggs could stay in there if the temps are getting into the 90s for several days. My plan was to do some sort of roll away nesting box to keep them from eating them but I am trying to engineer a plan to have them roll into something that will be more temperature controlled. Has anyone done anything like this?
Thanks!
