ronquieres vs royal palms......are they the same turkey?

    are the belgian 'ronquieres' turkey actually royal palms? just been looking back over some old posts and it seems they are one in the same...?


    and is it true you can sex them early on by colour? the young ones with black flecks are male...the plain white/cream ones are female?

    The second picture is what we call a Royal Palm (black and white).

    so they could just be a variation of the royal palm?

    The first picture looks like a red palm, the second a royal palm, and the third a red phoenix. Further down there is a picture labelled ronquieres that looks like a sweetgrass. I'm not sure what ronquieres means, but it does not appear to apply to a particular strain.
