We have a huge brooder they Are almost 6 weeks when I go into it she flies to me and wants to sit in my lap or lay in my arms to sleep

I am terrified about putting them in coop when time is ready after reading all these stories I have a barn coop from tractor supply but am building a 12×12' enclosure with door and roof and all have spent a fortune putting hardware cloth all around and outside
Ground to preditor proof. I have an 8 ft wooden privacy fence in backyard as well but I know that doesn't matter racoons are evil only saw one in 2 years but they never had a reason before to visit i also have a 100 pound black lab but he is an inside dog but very protective he van hear a pin drop.
