Roo or Hen

Purchased “Patty” from our local farm supply store & she has started crowing. My DH is convinced it is a hen who is just demonstrating dominance. I’m sure it’s a Roo because of the crowing & aggressiveness, but I’m also a new chicken mom. Do I have a Patrick or Patricia?

That’s what I think as well. The other one is just starting to get a comb & they are both about 16 weeks.

If we didn’t have city regulations about it I’d say “be a darn parakeet” unfortunately, My city doesn’t see eye to eye with me
