Roo or hen?

Hi guys,

My little girl has a gorgeous frizzle, but I think it may be a boy, which isn't good as we only have hens. Any feedback is appreciated, as this is our very first frizzle.

How old is the bird? Awful large comb and wattles, if this is a very young bird, to be a pullet. If you don't get the answers you are looking for here in the introduction section, you can post this pic in the What Breed and Gender section of BYC...

Hard to tell. But I agree with you, @liz9910 , about posting a pic to the "what breed/gender is this".

Howdy! We also need a photo of the entire body including back and tail. The age of the bird may help. Frizzles can be difficult to sex because of all those curly feathers. Shoot on over to the breed and gender section and the pros will help.

From the looks of it it is definitely a boy in my opinion.
