Roo poo is black and tarry?

I have 4 chicks and 1 roo. 2 ducks housed with them. 1 of the chicks was diagnosed with coccidosis and therefore they are all being treated minus ducks. My rooster started pooping this black tarry runny poop. Is this a bad sign? My chicks have started showing more movement since I started Corid and waiting on Endocox to come in.

Chicks are maybe 2.5 weeks old. Roo is 4-6 weeks.

I would take him to the vet. this is not a good sign.

If it was a one time thing, I wouldn't worry too much. I've seen some pretty weirdly colored poops from my chickens and chicks.

That's good. Keep a good eye on him for odd behaviors and more misshaped manure, etc.
