    I believe it's a hen, close to laying. Can we see a full body shot? That would solve it for sure.

    I don't see any sharp hackle feathers. My SLWs look more male for a while.

    I have hens with combs like that... do you have good photos of the body feathers? Those are helpful too. And I second the how old Q?

    I wouldn't count it off as a boy just yet. I don't see pointed neck/saddle feathers either...
