Roo vacation???

    6 of my hens have bare backs. Should Mr. Roo take a break? I could put protection on their backs, but on 6 of them? There are 17.

    My young roo, Thor's son TJ, is taking a little vacation in his own pen. It's too blessed hot for him to be chasing my hens.

    If you don't need fertile eggs, given the hot weather I'd try a vacation for your rooster. I'm betting that your hens will enjoy the break.
