Roo with bad leg injury

My roo and DH got into it and my roo jumped from his hands and hit the ground weird. He walked away just fine. The next day he was limping and the day after he would not come out of the coop. We then found him doing the splits with one leg in front and the other behind him. I felt him up both sides but I dont feel anything out of place. How do I treat my boy? He is usually a huge trouble maker but now he doesnt do anything. He wont eat or drink either. He wont walk at all. Any ideas? I have him isolated in the house.

You may want to familiarize yourself with the signs of Marek's disease. That "split" you were mentioning is a classic sign of Marek's.

He's almost a year old. Wouldnt he have shown signs sooner?
