Roo with sore toe/foot

[Pretty Boy Roo]

Hi all; I have a 3 year old rooster with a foot issue. His middle toe on one foot is swollen and sort of curved up at the tip, with a small dark spot at the end. I refer to his toe as looking like E.T.s finger!! When I turned him over, his lower belly and legs are firey red, and the leg with the swollen toe has red streaks running up toward the body. Can anyone advise? There are no poultry vets near me. I am afraid I will lose this gentle roo.

Nice roo, but Wyorp Rock asked for photos of the leg and belly, toes and bottom of feet too. Can't help, but hope he gets better.

He seems healthy otherwise. Eats and runs (hobbles) with the hens. They free-range and he's out all day til dusk.

Oh-hoh! This dot like dark thing on his feet (idk whats the similiar thing on the one of toes). It may be bumblefoot, but im not specialist

Hobbling- do you mean limping? If yes, it may be bumblefoot but idk why is his toe so swollen. Bumblefoot makes his feet (the area around the dark part) swollen i think. Isn't this dark thing just a piece of dirt? check it.

and you may check if the skin on the other parts of his body (including face) is the same colour as his legs and lower belly. Maybe it's just the colour of this breed? Maybe @Eggcessive may help you.

Not dirt. I have been soaking his foot in epsom salt so it’s clean. At least for awhile. I was thinking bumble foot too but his toe is so swollen I sorts ruled it out. We have a few hens that are that red too but they are molting and red where the feathers are missing. Wish we had Dr Pol closer.
