Hi,
Well it's that time of year again. Above ground pools are on sale and showing up at yard sales. Whether metal or fiberglass, the sides of these pools make great roofing for poultry yards. Bought new or used, one can sell the rest of the parts of the pool ( esp. pump and filter) to recoup part of the cost. Craigslist works well for this. We are in western PA and almost 4 years ago we roofed our poultry yard with fiberglass walls from an above ground pool. Despite hot cold, freezing, and ping pong size hail, it has worked very well. Plus , it is blue and white striped and looks nice.
