Hello guys ive done alot of reading here and i have enjoyed all of your post. I just got 58 chickens, mostly hens with 3 or 4 roosters there between 8-15 weeks old with one hen thats about a yr old. Got them on a great deal and couldent pass it up, im building a 12x12 pen with 100x75 ft of fenced in area for them to free range. not sure how much the food bill is gonna run me but im hoping it wont be terrible untill i can get all set up,

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

Generally you should have 4 square feet of coop per bird. A 12x12 coop is big enough for 36 birds.
