Hello everyone. I am purchasing a home and getting ready to move. I will need to build another coop and am wondering if I need to make space to keep the hens and the soon to be arriving rooster in separate areas. Thanks for your ideas [IMG]

They should be ok but they must be married first. Hens & Roos living in sin? What's
    next, cats & dogs?

Just keep the ratio correct. 1 roo for 10 hens or something close to that.
Polygamy is legal and morally acceptable for chickens in all states except
    North Dakota.

1 rooster to the hen house or you will have trouble.

If I was it would be a compliment. [IMG]

I had to reach up far to pull out North Dakota. I'm not even sure if it is a blue or red
    state. Sounded believable.

Hey, I just thought of something. Mix blue & red & you get PURPLE!! [IMG]
